The benefits of Cyprus Permanent Residence include the following:

Investments for Cyprus Golden Visa
Applicants must make a minimum investment of €300,000 in one of the following categories:
A. Residential Property
Purchase of a house or apartment from a development company, as a first sale, with a minimum value of €300,000 (plus VAT).
B. Non-Residential Real Estate
Purchase of commercial or other real estate (e.g. offices, shops, hotels, or related developments), or a combination thereof, with a total value of at least €300,000. Resales are permitted.
C. Cyprus Company Share Capital
An investment of €300,000 in the share capital of a newly registered Cyprus company, or an equivalent increase in an existing Cyprus company, provided the company operates in Cyprus, has a physical presence, and employs at least five (5) people.
D. Cyprus Collective Investment Funds
Investment of €300,000 in units of Cyprus Collective Investment Organizations (AIF, AIFLNP, or RAIF), with investments held in Cyprus.
Annual Income Requirement
In addition to the qualifying investment, the applicant must demonstrate a secure annual income of at least €50,000.
- The required income increases by €15,000 for a spouse
- And by €10,000 for each dependent minor child
The income must originate from abroad and may include salaries, pensions, dividends, bank interest, or rental income. Proof is provided through a tax return from the applicant’s country of tax residence.
The spouse’s income may also be included in calculating the total annual income.
Investment Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Clean Criminal Record: The applicant and spouse must provide clean criminal record certificates from their country of origin and country of residence (if different) and must not pose a risk to public order or security in Cyprus.
- Health Insurance: The applicant and all dependent family members must hold valid health insurance covering both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Employment Restrictions: The applicant and spouse must confirm they will not be employed in Cyprus, except as Directors of a company in which they have invested under this policy.
- Shareholding & Directorships: Where the investment is not in company share capital, the applicant and/or spouse may hold shares in Cyprus companies and act as unpaid Directors. Dividend income from such companies does not affect eligibility.
- Accommodation in Cyprus: For specific investments, the applicant must provide proof of accommodation in Cyprus (ownership, purchase contract with proof of payment, or rental agreement).
