Outlined below is general
information about the process of obtaining a student visa:
STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENTS
| 1. |
Choose
a suitable Institution and apply to undertake a registered course
or part of a registered course on a full-time basis.

| 2. |
If
Applicant's enrolment in the selected Institution is accepted,
then the applicant receives a Confirmation of Enrolment certificate.

| 3. |
Applicant
must pay the tuition fees for the course to the Institution.
|
| 4. |
Applicant
is required to take out health insurance.
|
| 5. |
Applicant
must be a genuine student.
|
| 6. |
Applicant
must have adequate finances for travel to and from Australia,
tuition and living expenses.
|
| 7. |
Applicant's
English language ability must be sufficient for the purposes
of the course. Otherwise, the Applicant may be required to complete
English training and sit a test before visa is granted).

| 8. |
Lodge
the Student visa application, evidence of course enrolment and
pay the visa application fee. |
STUDENT VISA
CONDITIONS
Mandatory Conditions - These
conditions are attached to all student visas. For example, you must
not work, you must have a satisfactory academic result, attend
contact hours and maintain health insurance.
Discretionary Conditions - These
conditions may be attached to a student visa depending on the
circumstances. For example, if you are granted permission to work -
then the condition will state, 'you must not work more than 20 hours
a week during your course session'.

STUDENT GUARDIAN VISA

Student Guardian means a relative of the Applicant.

Student Guardian must be over 21 years of age and
of good character.

Student Guardian must meet health and
financial requirements.

Student Guardian accompanies a
student under 18 years of age.

Guardian must live with the
student.
-
Guardian cannot work.
