BUSINESS OWNER

  • Applicant has a successful business career.
  • Applicant has an ownership interest in a business.
  • Applicant has substantial net assets in a business.
  • Applicant has substantial net assets to settle in Australia.
  • Applicant has achieved a significant annual turnover in the business.
  • Applicant has direct and continuous management role in overseas business.
  • Applicant commits to maintain an ownership interest in the business in Australia.
  • Applicant has an acceptable business conduct history.
  • Applicant has vocational English language ability.
  • Aged less than 45 years.
  • Applicant meets health and character tests.
  • Applicant can be sponsored by a State or Territory government.
  • After at least 2 years, the applicant can apply for the Business Skills Residence visa provided the applicant has an ownership interest in a business for at least 2 years and employs Australian workers in the business.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE

  • Applicant must have a successful business career.
  • Employed in one of the top 3 levels of management of a major business.
  • Applicant has substantial business and personal assets and substantial net assets for settlement in Australia.
  • Applicant has a commitment to maintain an ownership interest and direct involvement in that business.
  • Applicant has an acceptable business conduct history.
  • Aged less than 45 years.
  • Applicant has vocational English language ability.
  • Applicant meets health and character tests.
  • Applicant can be sponsored by a State or Territory government.
  • After about 2 years of operating a business in Australia, Applicant is eligible to apply for a permanent residence visa.

INVESTOR

  • Applicant must have a successful record of business or investment management.
  • Applicant must be willing to make an investment in a government approved Designated Investment for 4 years
  • Applicant has substantial business and personal assets and substantial net assets for settlement in Australia.
  • Applicant has an acceptable business conduct history.
  • Aged less than 45 years.
  • Applicant has vocational English language. ability
  • Applicant meets health and character tests.
  • Applicant can be sponsored by a State or Territory government and intend to live in that State or Territory.
  • Applicant can apply for permanent residence provided that the Applicant has maintained the Designated Investment for 4 years.

BUSINESS TALENT

  • The Business Talent visa enables high calibre business people to be granted permanent residence in the first instance. There is no requirement for a provisional visa.
  • Applicant must be sponsored by a State or Territory government.
  • Applicant has a successful business career.
  • Applicant has substantial net assets in a business and substantial personal assets for settlement in Australia.
  • Applicant has achieved a substantial annual turnover in the business
  • Applicant commits to maintain an ownership interest in the business in Australia, and direct management.
  • Applicant has an acceptable business conduct history.
  • Aged less than 55 years.
  • Applicant meets health and character tests.
