  • The Working Holiday visa is an electronic online visa for applicants who hold a valid passport of countries participating in the working holiday scheme.


  • You must be aged between 18 and 30 years at the time of application and have no dependents.


  • This visa allows a stay in New Zealand of up to 12 months or 23 months if if you are from the United Kingdom.


  • You can work with an employer for 3 - 12 months to supplement your travel funds through incidental employment.The period of employment permitted depends on your country of passport.


  • You must meet health and character requirements and have sufficient funds available to meet your living costs in New Zealand.


    • NOTE: - Citizens of FRANCE can no longer make an application online for the working holiday scheme. All applications must be sent to the Immigration New Zealand receiving office in Paris for manual processing.
