The Business Visitor (Long Validity) ETA is intended for business people who make regular short business visits to Australia for periods of up to 3 months at a time. The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is equivalent to a visa but there is no need for a stamp or label in your passport instead it is issued electronically by a computer system. Business activities include conferences, exploratory business visits, negotiation, but do not include commercial film making or musical performances. The ETA may be granted for the life of your passport and permits you to re-enter Australia multiple times. You can stay in Australia for 3 months each time you enter Australia. To apply, you must hold one of the ETA-eligible passports and you must apply for the ETA while you are outside Australia.
